Young Researchers Symposium
One of the goals of the IEEE joint IAS & PELS &PES BENELUX Chapter is to encourage collaboration between researchers, students and industry in the field of electrical power engineering, power electronics and industrial applications. This symposium offers a unique opportunity for young researchers to present their first scientific work to each other, senior researchers and interested people from industry. In this way, the participants can gain useful conference experience, get feedback and establish useful contacts.
This event is of interest to young engineers, scientists and technologists from academic and research institutes. Senior researchers and interested people from industry and academia are welcomed as attendees.
Scope
YRS 2014 will bring together early career researchers (postdocs and graduate students) from a wide range of disciplines within electrical power engineering, power electronics and industrial applications to exchange information and practice. This event will focus on the research activities of young researchers within the Benelux and provide them an opportunity to explore potential research collaborations across the laboratories. Furthermore, it offers an excellent platform to demonstrate their research activities to an external audience. All young researchers are encouraged to submit an abstract. There will be a selection process for oral presentations.
All young researchers are encouraged to submit an abstract for poster or oral presentation. There will be a selection process for oral presentations. Both oral and poster presentations will be evaluated by judges and the best presenters will be awarded a cash prize.
